Amanyara

You'd barely notice the exquisite Amanyara if you were passing through, thanks to its low-lying rooflines, timber pavilions (some featuring private pools), and the glassy blue sea stretching out behind it. As luxurious as the resort may be, it never forgets its roots and is in constant harmony with its island environs. It borders Northwest Point Marine National Park, acclaimed for some of the world’s best wall and reef diving.

The property enjoys a contemporary layout and design, with an Aman Spa, white-sand Beach Club and Nature Discovery Centre. Thirty-six timber-shingled guest Pavilions and 20 Villas are tucked along the coast or situated slightly inland overlooking tranquil ponds. To welcome the outdoors in, your pavilion features three retractable sides, as well as a king-size bed, daybeds, flat-screen television, terraces and a sunken table surrounded by cushions for cozy dining.

Nearest airport: Providenciales (PLS), 20 minutes by car

When to go

We recommend a 4-6 night stay from October through June to enjoy the sun and beaches. Our favorite time to enjoy pleasant weather while avoiding the crowds is early December and April-June.
